To be eligible to take the PMP exam, PMP candidates must meet specific educational and project management experience requirements. They must have verifiable project management leadership experience across five processes – initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing. In addition, candidates must have a thorough and proven knowledge of the PMBOK Guide content, which is why a comprehensive PMP exam preparation course is essential.
